First Reconciliation &
First Holy Communion

Preparation for these two sacraments is open to children in 2nd grade or older. Three monthly classes are held for each sacrament for the parent and child together. Children who do not attend Assumption Catholic School need to participate in Assumption Parish's K-5 faith formation program in addition to these sacramental preparation classes.

FIRST RECONCILIATION CLASS SCHEDULE
FALL/WINTER, 2023-2024
Sundays, 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.:

October       1
November   5
January       21

Note: Children will make their First Reconciliation on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024. Fifteen minute time slots will be made available between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and a signupgenius link will be provided in early January for families to pick their time.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CLASS SCHEDULE 
WINTER/SPRING, 2024
Sundays, 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.:

February   11
March       10
April          21

First Holy Communion Mass Rehearsal Schedule:
Children will attend the rehearsal based on the Mass time in which they'll receive the sacrament:
► Saturday, May 18 -- approximately 6:15 p.m. for all children receiving the sacrament at an English-language Mass.
► Sunday, May 19 -- approximately 1:45 p.m. for all children receiving the sacrament at the Spanish-language Mass.

The sacrament of First Holy Communion will be celebrated at all Masses on June 1-2, 2024.
